A Chapter Worth Celebrating
There are some seasons of life that deserve to be celebrated slowly.
Graduation is one of them.
After years of late nights, deadlines, growth, challenges, and countless moments that brought you to this point, walking across that stage represents so much more than the piece of paper you receive. It represents the person you became along the way.
Elizabeth’s graduation session at Middle Tennessee State University was the perfect opportunity to pause and celebrate this incredible milestone.
MTSU holds so many memories for its students—the places they studied, the paths they walked between classes, the friendships they built, and the experiences that shaped who they are today. Getting to document Elizabeth in a place that played such an important role in her story made this session even more meaningful.
Graduation sessions are some of my favorites because they capture a unique in-between season. You’re celebrating everything you’ve accomplished while standing on the edge of something completely new.
There is so much excitement, possibility, and hope wrapped into that moment.
My goal during every session is to create images that feel like more than just a photo with a cap and gown. I want them to capture confidence, personality, and the joy of knowing, “I did it.”
Elizabeth, congratulations on this incredible accomplishment. Thank you for trusting me to document such a special chapter of your story. I hope these images always remind you of the hard work, memories, and growth that brought you here—and the amazing things still ahead.
